Like any business, the client had proprietary information that required protecting, but they began experiencing cybersecurity related issues. Executive leadership quickly realized the potential threat this meant to their business and was not sure the current technology team was equipped to resolve the ongoing issues. They needed a secure solution that provided immediate relief and provided strategic direction for the future. And they needed it fast.
Solution
NB Business Solutions moved into action assessing the company’s overall organizational risks and vulnerabilities and identified multiple gaps across the organization. We quickly built a strategic roadmap focused on closing security exposures, overhauling the entire IT infrastructure, creating compliance-driven, industry best practice policies and processes and developing and strengthening the IT team. We assumed the role of CIO to execute against our roadmap and restored business confidence in the technical teams.
Results

We established an annual IT budget, overhauled the network and server infrastructure, established an enterprise cybersecurity program, provided development plans for each member of the technology team, and aligned with business leaders across the organization to ensure the company’s IT department was a trusted business asset. NB Business Solutions continues to provide executive coaching and leadership guidance to the client and works with the company’s executive leadership on various enterprise projects.
