We’ve strengthened our outsourcing services and fractional compensation offerings, helping our clients design compensation programs tailored to their goals, conduct salary surveys, and ensure regulatory compliance.

To ensure we are advising our clients with the latest information, NB is dedicated to staying at the forefront of HR trends through active participation in key industry events.
In 2023, we had the privilege of attending the LEAP HR Oil & Gas/Energy Conference in Houston, the Texas Total Rewards Conference in Irving, and sponsoring the Independent Energy HR Association (IEHRA) conference in Chicago. At each of these industry events, our team was able to engage with thought leaders and gain valuable insights into the future of HR in the energy sector.
We are also proud of our continued membership and participation in the HR Leadership Network (HRLN), which brings together Houston's HR leaders to share best practices, and HR Houston, which connects employers with the best HR professionals.
Leading the Next Generation of HR Professionals
Fostering knowledge-sharing in our community and the next generation of HR professionals is incredibly important to NB. For the sixth year, our CEO Tam Nguyen taught MBA students at the University of Houston-Downtown, imparting valuable lessons on compensation and benefits. She was also invited as a guest speaker for HR Strategy Lab on the topic of Advanced Compensation.
